PTC work with our clients to deliver the optimum life of well chemical injection system design.  Our chemical injection design team is led by Dr Joe Allan, a widely recognised well performance simulation  expert . We use the Petroleum Experts Prosper software model to evaluate well performance, along with a number of Openserver applications that PTC have developed. Including a chemical injection flow path simulator ( opposite)

Our approach is to take the OPCO’s anticipated lifecycle production profiles generated via in their reservoir simulator eg Eclipse (PI, watercut, reservoir pressure etc) and operating conditions (separator pressures, compressor discharge pressure) , then perform chemical injection design calculations throughout life of field (LOF)  to the required chemical injection valve spring settings which assure the check valve remains closed under the hydrostatic head of chemical in the line throughout well life.
