The primary reasons for sub optimal production under gas lift are:
- Multipoint lift gas injection via leaking ( shallow) unloader valves. Which means that all of the available gas is not reaching the deepest injection point.
- Unstable delivery of lift gas through a washed out or sub optimally designed orifice valve, which reults in sluggy production.
PTC's gas lift valves address these challenges as follows :
- Our IPO unloading valves offer unprecedented resistance to erosion during unloading operations, a number of other features are incorporated in the design which all increase valve reliability, consequently the risk of multipointing is significantly reduced
- Our 'Stealth' orifice design requires a very low pressure drop to achieve critical flow, thus facilitating stable delivery of lift gas at all times.
