How much rig time do you take to circulate kill fluid from your well and replace it with kick off fluid? And what are the risks that the operation takes longer than planned?

The PTC intelligent dummy circulating valve allows for circulation from kill weight brine to kick off fluid. It does so without the need to:

• circulate past the packer (prior to it setting).
• run wireline either to open and (hopefully) close a sliding sleeve.
• retrieve and replace a dummy valve from a side pocket mandrel.
• use coil tubing and the drillrig to onplace to N2.

As such, it can save up to 36 hours from natural flow well completion installation time. All with no control lines or electronics!
