Petroleum Technology Company AS (PTC) was founded in 2002 with the vision to be a leading provider of innovative technology for improved oil production.

PTC has over the years grown a reputation for working closely and flexibly with our clients in order to help solve the challenges they are facing. Indeed almost all of our equipment has been developed in response to specific demands from our clients where their existing equipment was not meeting their needs.

Our SafeLift range of gas lift valves, which were developed directly in response to StatoilHydro's requirement for a gas lift valve that could also be relied upon as a well barrier valve, is a great example of this. It is also within the disipline of artifical lift and annular barriers we have gained a reputation as a leading international provider of high end innovative technology and services.

With over 20 major technology developments over the 8 years the company has existed, we have a wide range of solutions from drilling- and waste management related services to process technology, well completions and well intervention.
